New Jersey Art Association Exhibit Opens at the Clifton Arts Center on Nov. 18th

The Clifton Arts Center presents “Oh, The Possibilities” Art Exhibit by the New Jersey Art Association from Wed, Nov. 8th to Sat, Dec. 9th. On Saturday, November 18th from 1pm-4pm there will be a Meet & Greet reception opening for the artists.

The exhibit at the Clifton Arts Center Gallery is about the many ways that the artist sees. Through the art and eyes of an artist, we can see many perspectives and sides that can lead us to a common good. The New Jersey Art Association (formerly The Millburn-Short Hills Art Center) is one of the oldest art associations in northern and central New Jersey. It was formed in 1940 as a nonprofit organization with simple purposes.

NJAA members are visual artists — amateurs and professionals and whatever is in between — who share those goals and a love of art. In addition to mounting their own exhibitions and demonstrations, the group’s members join together several times a year to show their work in such venues as the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown as well as libraries, hospitals, community centers and corporate offices. They also conduct a number of virtual art shows as well.

The New Jersey Art Association welcomes artists of all skill levels and working in all media. They are always seeking new members and have opportunities to participate in many ways.

The gallery’s visiting days open to the public are Wednesdays through Saturdays 1pm-4pm. Note: General Office Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm. Additionally, on Thursday, November 23rd – Thanksgiving Day we will be closed. On Saturday, December 9th hours we will be open 9am-12noon.
