Things to do in Clifton this weekend!
Things to do this weekend… and plans to make for upcoming events!
Spring has been playing hard-to-get around here lately, but it looks like this weekend will finally feel like spring! So, let’s pull together a few ideas on local things to do!
Friday, April 22nd:
Forget American Idol, the next big music star could be you!
Come out and sing at Emo Night Karaoke at Dingbatz on Van Houston Avenue, featuring a live band! Doors open at 9:00PM. Tickets are $10 each and attendees must be 21 and over to attend.
Saturday, April 23rd:
Shop til you drop!
Find a few treasures and help support Clifton Recreation at this outdoor flea market at Main Memorial Park (1400 Main Avenue, Clifton). Free admission for all shoppers. Open from 9AM-5PM.
Earth Day cleanup!
In honor of Earth Day, there’s a cleanup scheduled at Clifton’s Dundee Park from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Do your part to make Clifton a little cleaner and greener, plus a great way to instill the joy of community service for your middle or high school age children. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and get ready to do something great for your town… and your planet. RSVP via email @ firstname.lastname@example.org
A toast to Ghost Hawk Brewing!
It’s been three years since Ghost Hawk became the first (and only) brewery in Clifton. Come down to River Road (across the street from Rutt’s Hut) and celebrate during their third anniversary throw down this Saturday, April 23rd from 12:00-8:00PM. Get ready for a parking lot jam, with an outdoor beer tent, live music, food trucks, and a vendor market. Come raise one up with the Ghost Hawk crew for year number three.
