City Green's CSA Program Available to Clifton Residents Beginning this June

Image

City Green farms in Clifton and Mt. Olive, NJ grow over 75 varieties of organic produce using sustainable, regenerative farming practices. As part of it's mission to provide communities with fresh, delicious, and nutritious produce, it offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program for Clifton residents.

Never heard of a CSA program before? Community-supported agriculture programs are a system that connects the consumers within a local food system directly to the producers by offering consumer subscriptions to the harvest of a farm. By joining the City Green CSA, you buy a share of City Green's annual harvest and will receive a variety of fresh, organic produce every week!

City Green's 2022 CSA Season will open up for registration on Monday, April 25th at 10:00 AM. The program will run for 24 weeks, from June 1st- November 11th and spots are limited. Shares are available in large or small sizes, starting at just $18/wk.

CSA member perks include:

- Weekly produce shares include quality seasonal veggies from City Green farms

- Access to the CSA Storefront, allowing members to add local goodies to their shares each week

- Weekly CSA Newsletter with exclusive City Green content, recipe ideas, and more!

- Free City Green T-Shirt

Learn more about the program here and contact City Green's CSA program at customerservice@city-green.org with questions.
