The Passaic County Parks & Recreation department is partnering with City Green of Clifton for a Family Garden Day on Saturday, April 30th @ 10 AM in Weasel Brook Park in Clifton, NJ.
Participants will take part in a spring scavenger hunt and get a hands-on experience in gardening by preparing the soil, seeding, and transplanting.
Be prepared to get your hands dirty, while learning about soil and the plant life cycle.

City Green is a nonprofit urban farming and gardening organization based in Clifton that works to revitalize urban areas through agriculture and educational programming. They have served cities and communities throughout North Jersey since 2004.

This is a great idea. It might be late to get the necessary approvals from the city and recruit restaurants and other merchants for June, but it might be possible to plan for September when the evenings will still be light and warm enough. Or start planning for June 2023.
I think parking was an issue for some business owners. One owner I know asked where would all the people park, especially from out of town. I hope this happens. This would be fun
