St. Peter's Haven announced the results of its participation in the annual Souper Bowl of Caring campaign, part of the Tackle Hunger challenge.
Over 1,200 items of food that totaled over 1,000 lbs was donated to the Haven's food pantry in Clifton. Pam Fueshko, Acting Executive Director said, "This was a significant increase over last year and the Haven thanks everyone for their ongoing support to assist those who are food insecure in Clifton."
Souper Bowl of Caring unites communities to support local hunger relief charities across the nation by encouraging neighbors address hunger in their local communities. With 1 in 6 children in the US currently facing food insecurity, the Souper Bowl of Caring has created over $170 million worth of support that stays local.

This is a great idea!!
This is a great idea. It might be late to get the necessary approvals from the city and recruit restaurants and other merchants for June, but it might be possible to plan for September when the evenings will still be light and warm enough. Or start planning for June 2023.
I think parking was an issue for some business owners. One owner I know asked where would all the people park, especially from out of town. I hope this happens. This would be fun
