Governor Phil Murphy congratulated Clifton, NJ based manufacturer Better Team USA for being chosen by Ralph Lauren to manufacture the parkas to be worn at the Opening Ceremony for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Teams.

Better Team USA, located on Industrial East in Clifton, has been a manufacturer of luxury outerwear for over 40 years, and has a family history of Italian tailors dating back to the 1950’s. It has a long business relationship with Ralph Lauren and has created garments for past Olympic teams.  It's Clifton facility was opened in 2014, and the company has received positive attention for its "Made in the USA" label due to the limited options for US-based clothing manufacturers.

Governor Murphy said he was “proud” that fans of the Games worldwide “…be seeing Team USA athletes outfitted in Ralph Lauren parkas manufactured in New Jersey by Better Team USA."

The Opening Ceremony for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 will take place this Friday, February 4th and will run through Sunday Feb. 20th. The Paralympic Winter Games open March 4th.
