On January 1st Clifton City Manager Nick Villano announced changes to the city’s curbside recycling program. The collection schedule will now include pickup every two weeks and require only two separated materials, changed from mandatory source separation.
Villano indicated the city hopes the simplified rules and increased pickup will encourage residents to recycle more frequently.
Residents are also encouraged to download the Recycle Coach app, that sends text message reminders for collection days. The app can also help residents learn to recycle correctly with searchable descriptions of how to dispose of different recyclables. Because not all items are recyclable, this will help reduce contamination in the recycle stream.

This is a great idea!!
This is a great idea. It might be late to get the necessary approvals from the city and recruit restaurants and other merchants for June, but it might be possible to plan for September when the evenings will still be light and warm enough. Or start planning for June 2023.
I think parking was an issue for some business owners. One owner I know asked where would all the people park, especially from out of town. I hope this happens. This would be fun
