As Covid-19 cases rise across the state and country, Covid tests are more in demand. More testing locations have opened and NJ state announced free at-home testing kits are now available for residents. Clifton residents can also request an at-home test through Passaic County here. President Biden announced an additional 500 million tests will be made available for Americans.
In just one weeks time, Omicron variant cases have increased from 3% across the country to over 70%. Experts are still unable to definitively say if this variant causes milder symptoms, but it has been shown to spread faster as cases double every 1 to 3 days.
However, experts do know those most at risk remain the unvaccinated and warn those without a vaccine booster may still become infected. Although initial studies show the first vaccine series still provides some protection from severe infection, those vaccinated with a booster have greater immune protection from the Omicron variant.

This is a great idea. It might be late to get the necessary approvals from the city and recruit restaurants and other merchants for June, but it might be possible to plan for September when the evenings will still be light and warm enough. Or start planning for June 2023.
I think parking was an issue for some business owners. One owner I know asked where would all the people park, especially from out of town. I hope this happens. This would be fun
