CHS Mustang Marching Band Sends Love to Oxford - video

Following the tragic shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan on November 30, 2021, the Performing Arts staff at OHS posted a request on social media. The request was simple - "...our students need to know that they are supported and loved. The best way that we think we can deliver that message is through music."

The post went on to invite bands, choirs, and orchestras to record and share videos of OHS's fight song, written by one of their own students.

Mr. Stepneski, the band director at Clifton High School, said, "I really think it is a perfect, simple way to show our support from NJ."

Under his guidance and instruction, the Mustangs rehearsed Oxford's fight song for a week during band class and then stayed after school one day to record.  As an added show of support, the band members decided to wear blue and gold, the OHS school colors.

We are proud of our band every day and this is just another reason why it's a great day to be a Mustang!
