The Clifton Times Pet of The Week: Hail Cesar!

No reason to wait until the Ides of March to bring home your very own Cesar! Cesar is an 8-month-old kitten looking for his furever home through the Clifton Animal Shelter. Cesar has been fully vetted, vaccinated, and neutered and is now ready to be adopted. He is a super friendly kitten, so check out his adorable adoption video to see him ready to explore the world! You can see more about Cesar at his Petfinder profile HERE.

This handsome kitten is ready for a trip to the Forum!
Cesar looks for snuggles, not taxes.

Cesar was found “Rome-ing” outside as a stray by a kind stranger, who fostered him in her home for two weeks until there was an open cage for him at the shelter. As Valentine’s Day approaches, he is ready for Cupid to bring him his forever family, so he can give them lots of love!

Won’t you bring this handsome kitty home?

Cesar is a reminder of how important fosters are. Fostering a pet in your home takes them off the streets and out of the cold and lets them wait for their forever homes in safety. Hosting a pet can reduce their stress and help prepare them to be adopted, and it helps the shelter learn more about the kind of homes they would need to thrive. It is also a wonderful way to help the shelter - there are currently so many cats at the shelter, and they cannot save any new ones until the ones in the cages find their forever homes. As a bonus, you get lots of cuddles to keep warm over the winter months! For more on the dangers facing outdoor cats, please see our article HERE.

At 8 months old, Cesar is vetted and ready for a long happy life with a loving family!

You can also support the Clifton Animal Shelter by donating via their PayPal link or by donating supplies to them from their wishlists (Chewy or Amazon).

If you think Cesar would be a perfect addition to your family, please fill out the adoption application at the Clifton Animal Shelter and someone will contact you to discuss and answer any questions that you may have, and to set up a time to come in to meet them. The shelter does this to ensure that the environment is calm and conducive to having potential adopters get a good sense of the personality of the companion animal, and so they aren’t subjecting them to unnecessary stress. The shelter is located in the City Hall Complex at 900 Clifton Avenue in Clifton.

Please consider making Cesar or one of the many other animals at the Clifton Shelter a permanent part of your family! The shelter has many wonderful pets in need, ready to bring lots of love and joy to your home. Check out their page on Petfinder to see their sweet faces.
