What’s Happening This Week in Clifton Public Schools
Starting off an unusually quiet week within the district, the Project Unify basketball team will be playing a game at Clifton High School. The team, comprised of Special Olympics athletes and student mentors from CHS, practices weekly in this inclusive sport. Come out on Monday at 3:00 for a great time while supporting the students!
Friday, February 2nd, all schools will be dismissed early to accommodate the district’s monthly NJAchieve days. This half-day allows a program, Achieve NJ, to come in and observe, instruct, and evaluate teachers to improve student learning. For the early dismissal schedule for all schools, click here.
Also on Friday, Woodrow Wilson Middle School’s HSA will be hosting a Gift Card Bingo event at 7:00 p.m. at the Clifton Boys and Girls Club. Tickets are $25 each and all participants have the opportunity to play games, participate in tricky trays, join raffles, and win prizes accordingly. All guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages and extra game sheets will be available for purchase. Visit this flier for more information regarding the list of prizes.
Clifton Public Main Memorial Library is offering homework help starting now through June 5th for students in first grade through fourth on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Due to limited space, make sure to register online after noon on the day you wish to attend.
The Clifton High School cheerleading team will be holding a year-long fundraiser in which any supporters can purchase a discount card for $10 from either a cheerleader or from the email Cliftonmustanghscheer@gmail.com.
