What’s Happening This Week in Clifton Public Schools

Welcome back, Clifton schools!

Fresh into the new year, all schools will have a relatively uneventful week as students and staff return from winter recess. Thus, the only major event this week will be the Board of Education meeting on Thursday the 4th. This meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. in the basement of the Board of Education building at 745 Clifton Avenue. This meeting will be the first for the three newly-elected commissioners - Joe Canova, Joseph Siano, and Tanya Suarez. At this reorganization meeting, the Board of Education will vote for a new president and vice president. Like at all of these meetings, the Superintendent and the Clifton Board of Education will discuss various issues facing the district and will hold a commentary portion for anyone interested in posing a question or worry concerning Clifton Public Schools. CHS’s winter sports season has also kicked off with sports such as girls' and boys' basketball, wrestling, hockey, swim, and indoor track all having games, matches, and meets throughout the next couple of months. These events will be held at various times and locations so for more information; see full athletic schedule at CHS Athletic Event Calendar. Any inquiries or questions can be directed to the high school’s Athletic Director, Mr. Mullahey, at TMullahey@cliftonschools.net.

Have a great week back, Clifton!
