Clifton Rolls Out the Santa Tracker Ahead of Christmas Eve Ride Through City
The City Manager, in conjunction with the IT department and former Mayor James Anzaldi, is preparing for the best Santacade yet with a real-time tracker to help you follow Santa's progress on his Christmas Eve "flight" through the city!
Per the city's social media release:
Attention Clifton Residents! We are rolling out a new Santa Tracker for Santa's ride around Clifton on 12/24.
The Santa Tracker will be accessible on our website homepage (cliftonnj.org) and channels 77/40. You will be able to see where Santa is in real time!
The route is as follows, but please be advised that it is subject to change. If you live on a dead end or a tight street, we recommend following the Santa Tracker and heading to your nearest main road as he gets closer to you.
Santa will leave the DPW at 3:00 PM sharp. He proceeds to Lakeview Ave, towards Hamilton Ave, and Botany Village. Then, he heads towards Clifton Center and to the Dutch Hill section. He heads down Luddington and proceeds to Clifton Avenue towards Colfax, then to Oakridge Section with only a brief stop at City Hall.
Santa then heads towards Athenia and down to Rosemawr and Delawanna. He will then turn around, heading towards the Knollwood neighborhood and Allwood and Richfield. Then he will head to Broad Street towards Montclair Heights. He heads to Maple Valley and towards Albion. He will be ending it off with Hazel and Middle Village sections and taking Lakeview Ave back to the DPW garage to end the night.
Thank you to the hard-working volunteers who will dedicate their time on Christmas Eve to bring this special visit from Santa to all of us.
