Starting off the week, Monday the 4th will be a district-wide S/C day. This means that students will be released fifteen minutes earlier than usual to accommodate faculty and staff meetings in the schools. The school schedules can be found on the district website HERE.

Also on Monday, there will be a Christopher Columbus Middle School Home and School Association meeting at 6:30 p.m. A link to this remote meeting will be sent out to families on Monday morning. Be sure to follow their Facebook page for regular updates about CCMS. Every Clifton public school has its own HSA and they are a great way to get informed on activities and important information occurring at the school and to get involved in fundraisers, field trips, and more.

On Thursday the 7th there is a Board of Education meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the Board of Education building at 745 Clifton Avenue. At these meetings, the Superintendent and the Clifton Board of Education gather to discuss various issues presented to them as well as hold a commentary portion for anyone interested in posing a question or worry concerning Clifton Public Schools. You can click this link to watch from home.

The Nurtured Heart Approach Training for Clifton Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers presentation, hosted by the Clifton Education Association, is also on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the School 17 cafeteria. The training session is free and is meant to teach guardians “highly effective methods to inspire children and adolescents to channel their intensity successfully.” Space is limited so to attend you must register by emailing lchaves@cliftonschools.net with your name, child’s/children's names, grade, and school. For more information view this flier.

School 14’s HSA will be holding a Holiday Shop on Thursday and Friday for students to purchase gifts and other items during the school day that range from $2 to $20. To have your child participate, all you need to do is send them to school with the necessary money on the event days. The HSA is looking for volunteers to help set up and run the shop and if you are interested visit this flier for more information and sign-up details.

Similarly, the Clifton High Wrestling team will be hosting a Holiday Flea Market and Gift Fair on Sunday the 10th at the high school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature over seventy-five tables filled with gifts you can purchase for the holiday season. For more details including contact information, you can visit this flier.

Have a great week, Clifton!
