What’s Happening This Week in Clifton Public Schools
Welcome back from Thanksgiving break, Clifton schools! To begin the last week of November, Monday will be an S/C day, meaning all schools will be released fifteen minutes earlier than usual to accommodate staff and faculty meetings. To access all bell schedules, click here.
Tuesday the 28th, Wednesday the 29th, and Thursday the 30th will be the CELA preschool parent-teacher conferences; all students will have an early dismissal or “half-days” on these three days. Check out the link above for specific schedule times.
Also on Tuesday, November 28th, the Clifton Public School district will be hosting a job fair at the Board of Education building at 745 Clifton Avenue. This in-person fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Positions are available for a variety of special education teachers, support staff, and specialists, as well as general education teachers in elementary, middle, and high school. If you cannot attend the job fair but wish to apply, you can do so online via Applitrack.
Saturday, December 2nd will be School Nine’s Holiday Craft Fair. The fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium at 25 Brighton Road. In addition to the over forty vendors in attendance selling various products such as candles, jewelry, and clothes, picture-taking with Santa will also be available for $10 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. All proceeds will go to the School Nine Class of 2024 to help fund special events such as field trips and graduation activities so be sure to check it out.
