Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine for Children
Although Covid-19 cases requiring hospitalization among children in this area of the United States are dramatically lower than they were in May 2022, they are up slightly from late October's numbers. Serious complications from Covid-19 decreased significantly with widespread vaccinations and they are recommended for adults and most children.
The Clifton Health Department is offering the most updated Moderna vaccine for Covid-19 to children in Clifton and Little Falls. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 who are uninsured or underinsured (have health coverage that does not cover vaccines) are eligible. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive the vaccine.
There are two dates for this free vaccine:
Thursday, November 16th from 4-7 pm at the Satellite Office at 207 Parker Avenue in Botany
Tuesday, November 28th from 5-7 pm at City Hall in the courtroom at 900 Clifton Avenue
