This week, you can expect a district-wide S/C day on Monday, November 13th. This means that students will be released fifteen minutes earlier than usual to accommodate faculty and staff meetings in the schools. The school schedules can be found on the district website HERE.

On Thursday the 4th, there will be a Board of Education meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the Board of Education building at 745 Clifton Avenue. At these meetings, the Superintendent and the Clifton Board of Education gather to discuss various issues presented to them as well as hold a commentary portion for anyone interested in posing a question or worry concerning Clifton Public Schools. If you’d like to watch from home, please follow this link.

Friday the 17th will be an early dismissal for schools across the district for the AchieveNJ program, an organization that observes, instructs, and evaluates teachers in order to improve student learning. Elementary, middle, and high school students will be released at various times so be sure to view the school on the district website linked above.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Clifton High School will perform their fall play, “I Hate Shakespeare!” at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door for twelve dollars and ten for senior citizens. For more information about the show, you can visit this website.

Although the fall sports season at Clifton High School has come to an end, it won't be for long! Make sure to keep an eye out for when CHS’s winter sports begin the first week of December. Check out the athletic calendar here.

Have a great week, Clifton schools!
