Starting off the week, Monday will be an S/C day for the district, meaning that each school will be dismissed fifteen minutes earlier than usual to accommodate the monthly staff and faculty meeting.
In addition, the middle schools and elementary schools will be hosting their back-to-school nights throughout the week with the middle schools on Tuesday the 19th and the elementary schools on the 20th. This means that all students will have a half-day on their respective back-to-school nights. To check the bell schedules for the elementary and middle schools and the high school, click here.
On the 21st there will be a Board of Education meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the Board of Education building at 745 Clifton Avenue. Tickets can be purchased at the door for varying prices depending on age and whether or not you are a student at CHS (bring student ID if so). Tickets should not exceed $7.
Sunday is School 13’s Centennial Celebration event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 782 Van Houten Avenue. Everyone is invited to celebrate School 13’s 100-year anniversary with food vendors, bouncy castles, sand art, face painting, and balloon making.
