Meet Ruby Big Ears! Ruby is a year old Australian Shepherd/terrier/Blue Heeler mix who is looking for a new home through Rosemarie's Rescue Ranch. She weighs about 60 lbs (mostly ears) and is a lovely mid-sized active dog, perfect for an active family. She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, fully vetted, and is now looking for her forever home. Ruby is dog friendly with other dogs that match her size and energy, but would not do well in a home with cats or small dogs. Ruby’s adoption profile is HERE.
Beautiful Ruby is a friendly and active pup, who loves to hike, run, chase balls, and swim. She knows how to sit, lay down, and bark when she is ready to go out to pee. Ruby’s big ears are sure to be a crowd-pleaser at your next pool party because Ruby loves to swim, and will happily do laps with you and your guests. And once her day of hiking or swimming is over, this sweet girl just wants to snuggle up to you on the couch and catch some zzzzs. She is a dog with zero aggression, just a fun sweet soul looking for a "furever" home to share her boundless love with.
If you think that Ruby might be a good fit for your family, Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch has a Foster to Adopt Option that is a great way to experience adding a new family member, without making a lifetime commitment first. The minimum commitment is just two weeks. Fosters always get first dibs to adopt within these two weeks but are not required to. All supplies, including a loaner crate, harness, food, etc. are provided by the rescue, along with 24/7 support from a personal liaison who can help you with any questions you might have as you adjust to one another. No pressure, no second thoughts, the Foster to Adopt Option allows you to just enjoy your time together and see if the chemistry is right and if this pet is a fit for your family.
