Clifton Pet Of The Week - Meet Teak!

Teak is a beautiful gray and white American Staffordshire Terrier mix, who is currently at the Clifton Animal Shelter and looking for her forever home. Teak is a 5-year-old girl and up to date on her rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm negative, and fully vetted. Teak will be spayed and microchipped when she is adopted, at the expense of the Clifton Shelter. Check out her adoption video and her Petfinder profile for more details.

Teak is a very well-trained adult dog.  She is fully housebroken, won’t chew your furniture, won't bother your neighbors with incessant barking, and is well-behaved. She is a very sweet, established dog who likes men and women, and has always lived in a home.  No surprises with Teak - you know exactly what you're getting!  Teak would be a wonderful dog for someone who wants a perfect pet without the burden of needing to housebreak or train a puppy.

Teak was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own when her human companion moved to another country. She was surrendered with her mother, who has since been adopted. So now it is Teak’s turn! This beautiful gray and white dog is just waiting for the perfect family to take her home so she can spoil them with puppy kisses and tail wiggles.

If you think Teak would be the perfect addition to your family, please fill out the adoption application at the Clifton Animal Shelter and someone will contact you to discuss and answer any questions that you may have, and to set up a time to come in to meet them. The shelter does this to ensure that the environment is calm and conducive to having potential adopters get a good sense of the personality of the companion animal, and so they aren’t subjecting them to unnecessary stress. The shelter is located in the City Hall Complex at 900 Clifton Avenue in Clifton.

You can also support the Clifton Animal Shelter by donating via their PayPal link or by donating supplies to them from their wishlists (Chewy or Amazon).

Please consider making Teak a permanent part of your family! The shelter has many wonderful pets in need, ready to bring lots of love and joy to your home. Check out their page on Petfinder to see their sweet faces.
