Passaic County to Host 2023 County Fair

(Passaic County, New Jersey) – The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners and Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. will be hosting the annual Passaic County Fair from August 10th-13th at Garret Mountain Reservation. The opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 7:00 PM.

The fair will feature four days of unique activities for all to enjoy from games and rides to art activities and environmental excursions. Many crowd favorites will be returning this year – including pony rides, bounce houses for the kids, and more. “Family Night” is on Thursday, August 10th, where patrons can purchase a $30.00 wristband for unlimited fair rides. The four-day celebration will also feature three fireworks displays sponsored by SHI and United Federated Systems, on Thursday, August 10th, Friday, August 11th, and Saturday, August 12th at 9:30 PM.

The County Fair stage will feature an array of local musicians. Some of the bands on this year’s slate are The Larry Stevens Band, MPCK, Naughty Humphrey, Big Beat Band, and Orquesta Swing Combo.

“The Passaic County Commissioner Board is excited to bring back this summer highlight for our residents and visitors! It’s a great way to bring the community together with lots of fun activities, great food, and information booths,” stated County Commissioner Director Pasquale “Pat” Lepore. “With dozens of vendors to shop from, the County Fair is another great way the County supports and features our local businesses and entrepreneurs. There’s something for everyone at the fair. Come out, make some memories, and support our Passaic County parks!”

Entrance to the fair is free; parking at the Passaic County Fair is $5.00 per car. All proceeds from the fair benefit the Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. for future programming, park improvements, and preservation projects throughout the Passaic County Park System.
