From August 10-13, like in years past, Garrett Mountain Reservation will light up with the sights, sounds, and smells of the Passaic County Fair. Fun for all ages, the fair will feature activities to keep everyone busy and entertained, including nightly fireworks (except for Sunday). Vendors will be set up, so be sure to bring some money - but admission to the fair itself is free. Family Fun Night, on Thursday, includes $30 wristbands available for free rides all night.
So what can you expect to see at the fair? There will be carnival rides, bounce houses, games, animal ambassadors, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, the 4H experience, a chess tournament, a touch-a-truck interactive exhibit, butterfly exhibits, music, live performances, and a beer garden (for adults 21+ only). There will also be a blood drive for all those eligible to donate life-saving blood and the chance to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
