Hot Fun (and Learning) in the Summertime!

Those lazy, hazy days of summer can only mean one thing – time to get your summer plans in gear and let the kids have some fun before school starts up again in a few weeks.

Clifton is lucky to have a dedicated Recreation Department which brings exciting and low-cost activities and events to the city. The Clifton Recreation Department has been running a wide variety of week-long camp programs all summer and they’re not done yet! As of Thursday, August 3rd, the following August specialty summer camps still had openings. There is something for all sorts of interests and for different ages. Starting on Monday, August 7th they include:

Instructor Mandi Bevando of Dabbling Brook will show you how to bring your puppet to life. Campers will learn how to create a puppet for an imaginary forest populated by bears, snakes, birds, butterflies and beetles. You’ll create a personality and give facial movements to your creation and then have fun telling stores you make up around a pretend campfire.
