Summer Special for New Advertisers - Get Noticed with The Clifton Times

The Clifton Times, with an average of 48,000 page views per month, invites our small businesses to take advantage of a special summer promotion: for just $50, your ad will be included on The Clifton Times for the month of August. We hope to highlight some of Clifton's eateries, cleaning businesses, retail, tutoring, childcare, or any other business that operates here in the city. These ads are currently priced at $175 per month. Your ad will run for one month, beginning with whatever day your ad starts (so it may run into September).

Your ad, like all ads on the site, will appear on a “carousel,” rotating in and out in two spots (on the main feed between stories and in the sidebar) with each page refresh. In order to preserve visibility for all of our advertisers, we are limiting this special to the first six businesses who sign up.

What you need to do:

Step 1: Create an ad with these dimensions: 728 pixels x 90 pixels. You’ll also need it in a mobile-optimized size: 300 pixels x 250 pixels. Your ad can have photos, graphics, and text...anything you want, as long as it fits in the available space!

Step 2: Make a one-time donation of $50. This serves as your payment for the month. Look for the "support" button on the site, then choose a "one-time donation" of $50.

Step 3: Email your ad as two .jpg files to thecliftontimes@gmail.com with the subject "ad promo."

We recommend using Canva to create your ad. It's free to use and has a very handy custom-size option, so you can make sure your ad is exactly the right size.

Not sure you're ready to tackle graphic design? For an additional fee of $25, we'll create your ad for you! You just supply your logo, any images you want to be included, and the needed text. We'll generate something eye-catching for you.

Existing customers - those who have been advertising with us for at least two months prior to August 1st - can have their current ad included in our daily newsletter for just $25 for the month of August. The newsletter is emailed directly to more than 6,000 inboxes every morning. This placement is typically a $75 charge. You can also choose to have your ad placed as a leaderboard in the newsletter for $50 for the month (normally $100).
