Kittens, kittens, kittens! The Clifton Animal Shelter has so many gorgeous kittens in need of homes and fosters, so please consider bringing a couple of fun-loving furballs into your home!

Meet Leni and Finley, two beautiful 10-week-old kittens, who were trapped together and are now waiting for their forever homes at the Clifton Animal Shelter. They are a boy-girl pair, who are fully vetted and up to date on vaccines, and will be receiving boosters and be spayed/neutered when they get a little bigger. The shelter works with people who adopt kittens, to make sure all their follow-up care is completed. Check out Leni and Finley’s adoption video HERE and their Petfinder profile HERE.

Leni and Finley will see you now. They're ready to bring the fun to your family!

Leni and Finley were born outside and trapped as tiny kittens. Life outside for kittens is not easy - they’re vulnerable to infections, diseases, and being preyed on by wildlife and dogs. So, these babies were brought to the Clifton Shelter to find a great new life indoors with a loving family. They are adorable, very playful, and affectionate, and just need a home to learn to trust people. The shelter likes to place two kittens together because, despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. Left alone, a single cat can develop behavioral problems, and in some cases, even show signs of depression. Cats in bonded pairs are more likely to be better adjusted. Much of this comes from how the two interact and share day-to-day activities, like eating and playing together, and finding comfort in each other.

Having two cats isn’t really extra work as they share toys, a water dish, and a dry food dish, though the shelter recommends having two separate wet bowls. In fact, it can be easier than having one kitten, because they will keep one another entertained and will wrestle one another and not your feet!

These babies are the perfect addition to any home and are ready to bring you a lifetime of fun and cuddles as they explore the world with you.

Leni and Finley demonstrate how easy it can be to have 2 kittens who can share everything. Aren't they beautiful?

If you are able to give Leni and Finley the loving start they deserve, please fill out the adoption application at the Clifton Animal Shelter and someone will contact you to discuss and answer any questions that you may have, and to set up a time to come in to meet them. The shelter does this to ensure that the environment is calm and conducive to having potential adopters get a good sense of the personality of the companion animal, and so they aren’t subjecting them to unnecessary stress. The shelter is located in the City Hall Complex at 900 Clifton Avenue in Clifton (shelter phone number: (973) 470-5936)).

You can also support the Clifton Animal Shelter by donating via their PayPal link or by donating supplies to them from their wishlists (Chewy or Amazon).

Double your pleasure, double your fun with this dynamic duo who are ready to run, wrestle, and roll into your home.
