Today, at approximately 4 AM, officers transported a prisoner to the Passaic County Jail. When they arrived in the sallyport, the prisoner escaped from custody. A foot chase took place through the streets of Paterson and culminated in a yard-to-yard search - which lasted for hours before finally being broken down.
The prisoner, Isaiah Felix, 20 years old, of Passaic, NJ is still at large. He had been arrested on 7/2/2023 for charges stemming from a burglary and kidnapping of a family member.
The subject has ties to the Richfield Village apartments (St. Andrews Blvd, Clifton), and multiple addresses in Passaic.
