Early Morning Shooting Misses Target

Earlier this morning, at approximately 2 A.M., a Clifton resident was walking home on Lexington Avenue when he came upon suspicious activity, possibly an altercation of some sort, near the intersection of Lake Avenue. When the participant(s) noticed him nearby, one of the individuals shot at him. Fortunately, the victim was not struck and was able to run to safety. 

Spent shell casings were located at the crime scene and the incident is under investigation by Clifton detectives. At this time, there is no suspect description.
