Kim Castellano and her Power of One team

Kim Castellano, the force behind Clifton's Power of One, was greeting families at Sunday's Family Fun Day at Nash Park on Lexington Avenue. The weather was perfect and cool and a total of 500 people came out to enjoy it.

There was a bubble machine and party music playing with Clifton Realtor Joe Siano MC'ing, a representative from ShopRite handing out shopping bags, and other vendors there sharing information about their organizations. Sand art was set up under a tent and other children's activities were scheduled, including storytime. Castellano reported that 250 sand art necklaces were created at today's event.

Clifton Fire Department Lieutenant Guardascione and Firefighters Bradley and Cromey were there with Engine #1, welcoming children who wanted to touch the big, shiny truck or even climb inside.

Clifton is lucky to have Power of One and so many local businesses helping to support the community. If you would like to support the Back2School Outreach Program, the linked words will take you to a website with information (from 2022; will be updated soon) about donating and registering if you would like your child or children to benefit.
