What’s Happening This Week in Clifton Public Schools
Kicking off the week, Monday, June 5th will be an S/C day meaning that each school in the Clifton Public School District will be releasing students fifteen minutes earlier than usual to accommodate the monthly faculty and staff meetings. Similarly, Tuesday will be a half-day (early dismissal) for all schools as a result of Primary Election voting that will take place in the schools. The school schedules can be found on the district website HERE. In a letter to district parents, Clifton Schools’ Director of District Safety and Security, Meaghan (Conti) Zinola, described security measures that would be in place for all schools that were being used as polling locations.
On Thursday the 8th, Clifton High School will be hosting its Spring Dance Showcase in the auditorium from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door and will cost $12.
School #4 will be holding a Color Run and a barbeque on Sunday, June 11th, at Garret Mountain from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. as their end-of-the-year fundraiser. For more information regarding registration, tickets, clothing, and more, you can visit this flier.
Over the summer, Clifton High School will host several sports camps for children of varying ages and skill levels. For more information regarding camp hours, dates, and registration, you can view these fliers: soccer, lacrosse, basketball, esports, and football.
