Meet Loki! Loki’s second birthday is coming up on May 25th, and she would love to celebrate at home with you! Loki is a female who is white with calico markings, and is currently at the Clifton Animal Shelter. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Check out her video HERE to learn more about this very special cat.
Loki lived in a family since she was a kitten, so she is well socialized with people of all ages, including children. She was also raised with a dog, who was her best friend. As a result, the shelter believes that she would probably be okay with a cat-friendly dog, though of course this would need to be tested at the shelter. Unfortunately when one of the family members became ill, they weren’t able to cope with the extra work of having a cat, and they chose to surrender Loki, through no fault of her own. Loki is not shy and will approach you for pets and will rub up against you as she gets to know you. She is also very playful and loves her wand toy, because at 2 years old she’s still very young. Loki is a bit chunky, from being in a cage and having only limited options to move around, but the shelter staff believes that she would lose weight once she is in a home, moving around more.
If you are able to give Loki the fresh start she deserves, please fill out the adoption application at the Clifton Animal Shelter and someone will contact you to discuss and answer any questions that you may have, and to set up a time to come in to meet her. The shelter does this to ensure that the environment is calm and conducive to having potential adopters get a good sense of the personality of the companion animal, and so they aren’t subjecting them to unnecessary stress.
You can also support the Clifton Animal Shelter by donating via their PayPal link or by donating supplies to them from their wishlists (Chewy or Amazon).
Please consider adding Loki to your home! The shelter has many wonderful cats and kittens in need of homes, ready to bring lots of love and joy to your home. Check out their page on Petfinder to see their sweet faces.
