The concert will include performances from the three choir classes, including the MadCaps, and from the school’s Choir Club with songs ranging from various time periods, topics, and even languages!

The next day School Eight will be hosting its first annual fifth-grade talent show on Thursday, May 11th in the school’s auditorium at 6 p.m. All proceeds of the show will be going to the fifth-grade field trip held in June. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children, however, they will not be sold at the door so if you wish to attend, be sure to purchase tickets before May 8th. To purchase a ticket, you must complete the information at the bottom of the flier linked above and send it to Ms. Fucetola at School Eight.

On Saturday the 13th, the Clifton High School Marching Band will be hosting a car wash in the high school parking lot. These car washes will be every Saturday for the month of May and last from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. with cars costing $7 and SUVs/vans $10.

On the same day, there will be an opportunity to donate clothes at CHS from 9 a.m. to noon. Clothing, shoes, bags, and even toys can be dropped off at the gym doors near the main entrance.

If you have or know a child in need of daycare, Clifton Public Schools offers a preschool program for Clifton residents! For more information regarding prices, hours, and requirements, you can visit the Clifton Public Schools Pre-School Registration Services page. The program operates on a first-come, first-served basis so be sure to register soon and keep in mind that to be eligible, your child must be 3 or 4 years old by October 1, 2024.

On Friday, May 12th, Clifton High will be hosting its first annual fashion show at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium and tickets will be $7 at the door. This event will allow the fashion students of CHS to show off their creativity and talent with designs they have curated throughout the year. Some students outside of the program will even be taking a shot at the catwalk by modeling some of the outfits. Make sure to check it out!

As the spring sports season carries on, there will be multiple matches, meets, and games for CHS sports such as baseball, Girls’ and Boys’ lacrosse, outdoor track, tennis, and softball. These events will be held at various times and locations throughout the week so for more information, you can access the full athletic schedule at CHS Athletic Event Calendar.
