Project Medicine Drop - a Safe Place for Unwanted Medications

Image

Project Medicine Dropoff is aimed at getting unused and expired medications out of residents' homes. Removing these items from the home helps to prevent drug abuse by people who may have access to them but for whom they were not prescribed. You can bring prescription and over-the-counter medications to the collection box to be discarded in an environmentally safe manner.

Accepted medications include pills, capsules, patches, and pet medications. Syringes and liquids are not accepted. Don't forget to remove labels or scratch off any personal identifying information from prescription bottles.

The collection box is located in Clifton City Hall (near the Police Department's front desk) at 900 Clifton Avenue. Drop-off hours are 24 hours a day -365 days a year. If the front doors are locked, simply ring the bell and someone will let you in.
