Starting off the week at Clifton High School will be a district-wide S/C day on Monday, March 20th. On S/C days, school ends fifteen minutes earlier to accommodate department meetings for the teachers and staff. Thus, the high school day will end at 1:45 p.m. compared to the usual 2:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, March 21st, there will be an All City Band performance starting at 7:00 p.m. All City is a program throughout elementary, middle, and high school to display the development and talent of students in the music department throughout the years they have been playing an instrument. There are two performances a year, one for the orchestra and one for the band, which will be directed by Mr. Stepneski - Clifton High’s band teacher and marching band director.
There will be a Board of Education preliminary budget hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23rd. The meeting will be held in the basement of the Board of Education building at 745 Clifton Avenue.
With sports at Clifton High School starting back up for the spring season, the school’s athletic department is already seeing a jammed-packed agenda of scrimmages. Baseball, lacrosse, softball, volleyball, tennis, and outdoor track all have events this week. To view the full schedule, you can visit the CHS Athletic Event Calendar to see teams, times, locations, and other details.
