The Clifton Times Pet of the Week! Meet Madison!

Madison is a beautiful young adult cat, between 1-2 years old, who is spayed and fully up to date on vaccines. Look at those gorgeous green eyes!

Madison came to the Clifton shelter as a stray. A kind person noticed her wandering around outside, cold, dirty, and scrawny, and was worried that she might get hit by a car. She put out some food for her, and Madison came running. The good Samaritan drove her to the shelter, even though she didn’t have a cat carrier. This resulted in quite an adventure for all concerned because once the woman opened the car door, Madison ran a few blocks. Luckily a quick-thinking volunteer followed Madison, got her to stop running, and he was able to pick her up and carry her to the shelter where she is safe and sound and waiting for her furever home.

Madison likes treats and when she is out of the cage interacting with people, she will roll and show her belly which is a great sign of trust. It takes her a few minutes to check things out but it is well worth it. Madison is looking for a home of her own, and a loving family to pet her and give her lots of love. If you’re interested in seeing more of Madison, including a very sweet video of her please check out her Petfinder page.

If you think Madison could be the perfect loving addition to your home, please fill out the adoption application at the Clifton Animal Shelter and someone will contact you to discuss, answer any questions that you may have, and set up a time for you to come in to meet Madison. The shelter does this to ensure that the environment is calm and conducive to having potential adopters have a good sense of the personality of the companion animal, and not subjecting them to unnecessary stress.

You can also support the Clifton Animal Shelter by donating via their PayPal link or by donating supplies to them from their wishlists (Chewy or Amazon).

Please consider making Madison a permanent part of your family!
