It's A Wonderful Life Classic Film Screened at AMC Clifton Commons for 75th Anniversary
Frank Capra's heart-warming masterpiece, "It's a Wonderful Life" is celebrating 75 years with a big-screen event and returning to theaters for modern audiences on Dec. 18th and 21st.
Clifton residents can see this classic film at the AMC in Clifton Commons on these two exclusive screening dates. The film is presented as part of the eighth annual TCM Big Screen Classics series, that celebrates the anniversaries of 12 of Tinseltown’s most beloved motion pictures including the 40th anniversary of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and 80th anniversary of the lauded Casablanca.
In the film, George Bailey (James Stewart) sets aside his dreams of world travel to run his father's business, a small community bank, with the hope of protecting the people of Bedford Falls from a greedy businessman, Mr. Potter (Lionel Barrymore). When an unfortunate mistake pushes George to the brink of despair, a visit from an angel (Henry Travers) reveals to George how the life of one good man can change the world forever.
