It's Back and It's Going to be Better Than Ever… A Taste of Clifton Food & Wine Festival!

After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Boys and Girls Club of Clifton will once again host its largest fundraising event of the year with the “A Taste of Clifton Food & Wine Festival.”

Block off your calendar from 6:30 to 9:30PM on Monday, October 24th and make sure you are a part of one of the biggest events on the Clifton social calendar. Dozens of local restaurants will be offering samples of their favorite dishes, while the wine and biergarten will satisfy your thirsty cravings, and hundreds of Cliftonites will be in attendance to help support one of Clifton’s best organizations.

If you haven’t attended in the past, you don’t know what you’ve been missing. The always sold out event highlights the very best of Clifton’s diverse restaurant offerings from Italian to Thai, Mexican to Middle Eastern, and everything in between. The lineup of restaurants is still a work in progress, but previous years have allowed attendees to sample pasta dishes from Matthews, fresh-from-the-grill beef sliders from The Barrow House, empanadas from Mexican Cantina, a cupcake tower from Mr. Cupcakes, and so much more.

This year, the Boys and Girls Club is looking to welcome some of the newer restaurants around town, as sadly many long-time establishments have closed over the past two years. The Boys and Girls Club staff and volunteers are reaching out to restaurants and bakeries every single day, in hopes of gathering an exciting and diverse array of offerings for this year’s event.

We are still more than a month away from the big night, but there are things you can do right now to help!

  • If you are a local restaurant, bakery, bar, or liquor store and you want to participate in this year’s event, A Taste of Clifton Food & Wine Festival gives you an opportunity to showcase your finest dishes, fine wine, signature cocktails, or craft beer to over 500 attendees. Exhibit space is FREE, although you will be asked to provide a $50 gift card to be raffled off at the event. To participate as a vendor, please contact Special Events Coordinator, Chris Street, at 973-773-0966 ext. 155 or email cstreet@bgcclifton.org
  • If you’d like to attend this year’s event, you can purchase tickets online and ensure that you won’t miss out on one of the best night’s of the year in Clifton. In past years, the event has sold out well in advance, so we recommend that you purchase your tickets now to ensure you won’t miss out!
  • If you are an individual or company who would like to make a tax deductible donation or become a sponsor of the event, you can email Ivonne Salazar at isalazar@bgcclifton.org

Summer is winding down, so get ready to take in the wonderful diversity of food and drinks found in your very own hometown, while you support one of Clifton’s most worthy organizations.
