Free "Make a Will" Event in Clifton for Senior Residents

During “National Make a Will Month” the Passaic County Surrogate, Zoila S. Cassanova, Esq. will be hosting two free “Make a Will” events for Passaic County seniors, in partnership with Northeast New Jersey Legal Services.

Recently, AARP cited a survey from Rocket Lawyer that revealed only 64% of respondents had a will. The most common reasons cited was not having time or not wanting to think about death.

While seniors are most likely to have wills, less than half of adults who earn less than 99K annually having an estate planning document, according to a Gallup poll.

But having a Will is important for all seniors if they own any assets at all including a house, car, a bank account and especially for those with a dependent loved one according to Legal Zoom.
