Clifton Arts Center announced the first of planned in-person classes for Clifton youth at the Arts Center for 2023:

Intro to Origami: Creating with Geometric Shapes on Saturday, April 15th at 12:30pm.

The class, which is for ages 6-10, will be instructed by MaryAnn Baskinger, Chair of the Clifton Arts Center, Inc. Board of Directors and retired Clifton Public Schools Art teacher & supervisor.

In the class, Baskinger will instruct students on paper folding techniques using geometric shapes. The valley folds and mountain folds of Japanese Origami will be applied to transform paper into colorful caterpillars, butterflies and leaves. All project supplies will be provided and students will leave with a completed project that can be used as a colorful Spring centerpiece at home.

Tickets are $21 and limited seating is available.  Purchase tickets online only at www.cliftonartscenter.org/classes - no tickets will be sold at the door.

This class is coordinated by Clifton Arts Center, Inc., the nonprofit organization that supports the Clifton Arts Center.
